We are excited to announce the arrival of Elder Randy Bott and Sister Francis Bott as full-time Welfare and Self-Reliance missionaries in the Australia Sydney Mission. They bring a wealth of experience, love, and commitment to service, and we are thrilled to have them supporting our stake.
Elder and Sister Bott have only been married since June 2023, but together, they bring an incredible 105 years of marital experience, 16 children, and 52 grandchildren! Sister Bott has a rich history of service in Young Women, Relief Society, Primary, and music callings, along with professional experience in special education and online class facilitation. Elder Bott, who began his service at age 16 in Samoa, has an extensive background in teaching and leadership, including 19 years at BYU and service as a Mission President in California. He also has a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and has previously served as a Self-Reliance missionary in Sydney.
Elder and Sister Bott will be serving the Fairfield and Prairiewood Stakes, focusing on the Career Initiative to help support the rising generation. Their dedication and talents are sure to make a meaningful difference in our Welfare and Self-Reliance efforts.
